A lifelong Michigander, Megan was born in Farmington Hills and raised in Livonia. As the granddaughter of migrant workers, she was instilled with the values of hard work, community, and service from an early age. Megan has continued that dedication of service with Life Changers, Break Away, Habitat for Humanity, and other organizations.
Upon graduating Franklin High School, Megan received a bachelors degree from the Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University in 2008. While many of her peers opted to leave Michigan in the midst of the recession, Megan chose to commit to her home state. She put down roots in Novi, where she resides with her husband, children, and stepson.
With a career in management, sales, and marketing, while owning her own business, Megan has developed the skills to unite individuals with a common goal, to listen and collaborate to find solutions, and advocate for the needs of others. After a decade in the private sector Megan was inspired to run for office and committed to serving people through politics. In 2017, Megan graduated from Emerge Michigan, a premier training program to prepare Democratic women for office. To serve her community, Megan was elected as Precinct Delegate in 2018 and elected the inaugural Chair of the Novi Democratic Club in 2019.
Megan is running to be the 38th District’s State Representative and is committed to serving the community she calls home.
